Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)

Effective January 1, 2022, the Wisconsin Department of Human Services is requiring EVV use for Medicaid-covered personal care and supportive home care services. All non-live-in caregivers are required to use EVV to get paid and NO LONGER submit timesheets to Fiscal Assistance (FA).

How EVV Works

Caregivers use the Evvie web app or mobile app (available for smartphone & tablet) to electronically record their start and end times of each work shift (also called a “visit”). Alternatively, they can use Ivrie (pronounced “ivory”), to clock in and out with a phone call from the employer’s phone.

Evvie and Ivrie capture the 6 key data elements required of EVV.
